Three wishes in a fountain…has to be the Trevi Fountain! Like tourists in downtown Waikiki, the streets were packed with people trying to throw coins into the fountain. Some of us were able to maneuver the crowds of people to throw three coins (one to return to Rome, one to find love, and one for any wish your heart desires) into the fountain. We took way too many “artsy” pictures by the fountain and even saw a newlywed couple taking the wedding pictures. AWW! It was so funny to see everyone taking pictures of the couple even though they had no idea who they were. I have to say though, making the journey back to the group was probably even harder than getting to the fountain. It was almost as if the number of tourists was multiplying by the dozens each second. But finally after zigzagging around people of all shapes, sizes, and ethnicities, we made it back to the group…5 minutes late. OOPS!
