This year the secondary school has studied the book of Philippians during our chapel times, and I have been struck by the relationship that is so evident between Paul and the church at Philippi. In the midst of Paul’s difficult life and traveling schedule it is evident that relationships are of great importance to him; he has a genuine love for the people there. Paul sees this church as necessary partners in the gospel. It is interesting to see how God utilizes events and people as tools to promote the gospel.
One of the many benefits Trinity Christian School receives from being under the umbrella of Trinity Presbyterian Church is the constant reminder of being gospel centered in all that we do. Relationships are important, and whether we are participating in the events mentioned above, or simply spending time together, may we always be reminded of our need for the gospel in our own lives and the opportunity to be an example of it for others.
