This revelation does not come from one isolated incident. Our family has been with Trinity for the last 8 years. I have many stories to share, some that include a child cheating on a test, another child teasing another peer in the bathroom, dealing with the disappointments of seeing an “F” on an assignment/test, but many more stories of teachers encouraging my children, going beyond the typical school day to work on a subject my child was struggling with, helping me identify their God-given strengths, helping me realize their potential, encouraging me as a parent, and most importantly, showing me that each one has a love for Christ. I occasionally feel the pressure to consider a larger school for my children with more amenities, pep rallies, and a plethora of electives or extra-curricular activities. However, the Lord continues to reveal to me and my heart that my children are in the right place with the right people and He will grow our small school into the school it is meant to become, at just the right time. As a Preschool Teacher at Trinity as well, I get to see the heart of our administration, experience how blessed we are by the PTF, see how passionate the teachers are about what they do, and am honored to be able to call those I work alongside, my colleagues, my friends, my extended family. To add to this, at a recent Christmas gathering with the PTF Room Parents, each parent expressed how blessed they felt having their family at Trinity, how we have a very special community at our school and how the school not only has benefited their child/ren but their entire family.
So, as you gather with your family and friends this holiday season, give thanks to the partnership we have at Trinity and our TCS ohana. Most importantly, give thanks to the Lord for all the good He has imparted in our lives and for the birth of His son Jesus, who is the best gift of all.
Merry Christmas!
