Day 4: Sunday, October 2, 2016: Athens
After a leisurely breakfast, we will board the bus to Heathrow Airport and fly to Athens, Greece. On arrival we will transfer to the Hotel Philippos and check-in. Dinner will be at the nearby Hotel Herodion. We will spend two nights in Athens. (B/D)
Notes from the travelers:
Wow, what a day! God's providence was truly unbelievable today. *** lost her phone at the airport in London (found by Makana--I told him it was the modern equivalent of slaying a dragon :) and then *** lost her wallet with passport at the airport in Athens but didn't realize it until our coach pulled up in front of the hotel. Thankfully, we walked inside and were met at the front desk with the message that her wallet was found at the airport and is now with the police. We'll leave early our last day here so that we can pick it up before catching our plane. Her passport and money are safe--sigh of relief!
** threw up and had a fever when we got back from dinner. She hasn't been feeling well since we got here, so I'm planning on staying with her tomorrow morning while the rest of the group goes to Corinth and then we can meet up with them in the early afternoon if ***'s feeling better and catch the last part of the tour at the Acropolis and Mars Hill.
