Day 2: Friday, September 30, 2016: Arrival in London
We will arrive in London Heathrow at 12:20 PM and we will board our bus to go to Runnymede, where the Magna Carta was signed on June 15, 2015. After time for lunch and a walk to the memorials, we will continue on to Windsor Castle, located on the River Thames. Britain’s oldest royal residence was originally built in 1070 by William the Conqueror. After our castle tour with audio guides, we will check-in to the Holiday Inn Express Heathrow T5 for two nights. (IF/D)
Update from our travelers:
We made it safe to London, had absolutely beautiful weather for seeing Runnymede and Windsor Castle, and had devotions and off to bed now! Everyone is quite tired of course so would appreciate prayer that they wake up feeling refreshed and excited about the new day!
Expect the first student blog tomorrow night our time
