Aloha from Virginia!
We hope this note reaches you all (I went through my emails for addresses, please forward it as needed), and that you are well. We hope to encourage you and affirm the mission of TCS. Our nationwide experience shows what an incredible school that TCS is, because of the love and dedication of its staff members.
Angie and I continue to be blessed by our children’s time at TCS, and mourn that we could only stay the 2014 academic year before we had to relocate. Our daughter Jordan is now in 11th grade, son Aaron is now in 8th grade, but TCS’ impact has been tremendous and continues to touch our lives.
I believe that words fail me, in conveying the depth of my gratitude for your roles in the development of my children. The academic rigor, breadth of subjects, and depth of studies was truly outstanding and impressive. Beyond academics, however, we realize that TCS is seemingly unique in its ability to instill the foundational principles of critical thought, a passion for learning, and an awareness of God’s love, direction, purpose, and presence. And, my children also have a well-rounded appreciation for the arts and physical fitness.
I pray that the world’s troubles of budgets, politics, or other pressures will never distract you from the miracles God works through you, in the lives of our children, as you inspire them by showing them how the world truly is, how God wants the world to be, and how our children can bring that about.
I hope that this short note encourages you, with the knowledge that, year after year, your gifts continue to bless others.
In Aaron’s words: “no school that I’ve ever been to has been as good as TCS” (and he’s been to a lot). In Jordan’s words, “I still use what I learned at Trinity; what I learned is still relevant to my life now... I’m glad I had the opportunity to go there.” In summation, from Angie and I... “amazing!” We remain in your debt.
Sincerely, Brian Rush
