Trinity--a very strong desire for a unified campus. This desire goes far beyond the inconvenience of two drop offs, or the overhead in managing two sites. It is a longing to join together in our
Christ-centered mission and to find new ways to love and serve each other. It’s not simply about a new building, but about being a family.
Therefore, I feel compelled to make some movement in the direction of a unified campus. To that end, the School Board and I have discussed our focus for this year and how we will approach our planning. The principals and I
have begun weekly strategy meetings to keep this goal before us. And soon, more and more faculty and parents will get involved in the many tasks and plans necessary to lay the foundation for this grand vision. There are hundreds of questions to ask, many possibilities to research, new committees to form, new partners to find, and more plans to draw.
It would feel so natural to charge on ahead, and yet that could be so profoundly wrong. Why? Because the
Lord built this school, and He will be the one to unify it. "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain” (Ps. 127:1a). Therefore, we must first put our desires before Him, to seek His will, and to hope in His promises. That is why we will be spending 40 days from October 21st to November 29th to pray for a
unified campus. You have already seen some correspondence in this regard, and you will continue to see more in the course of these 40 days.
God calls us to pray individually, behind closed doors (Matt. 6:6), but He also has special regard for the prayers of groups (Matt. 18:19-20). Corporate prayers result in corporate thankfulness to God (2 Cor. 1:11),
which brings Him glory. Therefore, it is vitally important for us to pray as a TCS family, for our school to collectively bend its knee to Him, trusting in His provision for our future. Please join us by taking the time to
pray privately, publicly in groups, in your homes, or wherever you gather with others.
In Christ,

Jesus says, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing". (Jn. 15:5)
