Where did you go to school? Now anyone born and raised in Hawaii knows how to answer this question. The person posing the question doesn't want to know where you went to college or graduate school, they are asking where you went to high school. This is the first school year that young adults will begin to answer that question with Trinity Christian School, knowing this is the school from which they will graduate. I think most people have vivid memories of their high school years, and hopefully most of those memories are good ones. School activities, athletics, and drama performances are just a few of these memory making moments (for the student and the family). Are you creating fun, positive, and lifelong school memories for you and your children? The last two weekends held end of season athletic tournaments for elementary basketball and secondary volleyball. The players all play with heart and the fans cheer them on with equal enthusiasm. Parents, teachers, and students were there with banners, balloons, and other spirited garb. If you didn't make it to these games you missed some memory building school events. In January, secondary basketball season will begin and TCS will have its second spirit week. Plan to participate and plan to come out to the basketball games, they promise to be an evening well spent. Not be overlooked are the elementary athletic teams. These young players are our high school students of tomorrow. Go cheer them on and encourage your children to tryout for a team when they're old enough. In January, the secondary school drama class will be performing "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Not only will the talent impress you, younger children will look forward to the the day they too can be a part of a TCS drama production. Take advantage of all the TCS has to offer and continue to build school memory making moments. As your children grow into high school students, or complete their high school years you want them to say with ownership and excitement that they attended Trintiy Christian School.

You are so right about local people identifying with their high schools. I was fortunate to attend one of the top schools in Honolulu K-12. It had a beautiful campus, excellent teachers, and every opportunity possible but I know I was not educated as well as our Trinity students. What I appreciate about Trinity is that our students are able to participate in everything, be close friends with everyone in their class, and get the individual attention to be successful in every subject. God has created us for relationships and we are blessed with so many at Trinity. I wish I could have been a Lion!!

In reply to the question on the top, I can proudly answer that I go to Trinity Christian School. This year the senior class which I myself am a part of have a lot to look forward to like our upcoming Europe Trip. Anyways, to any who read this blog please keep supporting our arts and athletic teams. Please especially try to support this year's high school basketball team. Although we were underdogs last year this year we are aiming for the top. Go Lions!
